History
2018
Following the sale of his eSIM, SIM and IoT software SIMULITY business to ARM in 2018, Stéphane Fund embarked on a new venture with TRASNA driven by the rapidly evolving 5G network landscape tasked with connecting billions of devices.
His strategic vision aimed to provide comprehensive solutions, encompassing hardware, software, and services for IoT communications, establishing TRASNA as a one-stop-shop for both Telecom operators and OEMs.
2019
In 2019, Stephane Fund, Hanène Maupas, and Yves Fusella founded Safe-IoT, which later became the semiconductor division of TRASNA.
Hanene and Yves brought with them a track record of success in SIM and IoT chips, including their involvement in ventures like StarChip, a semiconductor startup (which shipped more than 3-billion SIM chips to the SIM card market) acquired by Safran and now a crucial part of IDEMIA.
